In a strategic move to boost tourism and facilitate travel from India, Saudi Arabia raised inbound flights from Asia’s second-largest economy by an impressive 19%. According to a senior official, this initiative has already resulted in 400,000 Indian travelers in the first quarter of 2023 alone. With ambitious aspirations, the goal is to attract over 12 million Indian visitors by the year of 2030. The Kingdom has added an additional 47 flights connecting the two countries, totalling in 290 weekly flights. Notably, Saudi Arabia currently hosts a thriving Indian community of 2.6 million residents and hopes to double their current visitor count to 2 million by the end of this year.
